Michael Penland was born in a small town located in the
backwoods of North Georgia in the Southern United States of
America.
Growing to adulthood as the grandson of a Georgia sharecropper,
Michael learned early in life the agony of defeat and the pain
of poverty.
More importantly, Michael discovered the power of "believing in
yourself" and the magic of direct response marketing (commonly
called mail order).
At the age of 12 years he was selling products door-to-door and
recruiting other children in his neighborhood to sell for him on
commission. This training ground brought him the valuable
ability to "read" and understand people... what motivates them
and moves them to act.
In 1970 Michael launched his first marketing venture.
Today
he is a recognized legendary marketer both offline and online.
With more than 35 years experience as a graduate of the school
of hard knocks, Michael is the entrepreneurs entrepreneur.
He has published more than 100 directories, books, manuals,
reports, newsletters, and DVD/Video training courses covering
his diverse fields of expertise in marketing, sales, publishing,
internet marketing, import and export, and much, much, more!
