"CyberBlog: Creating Buzz and Traffic!" A blog is a personal online journal or diary... short for "web logs."  The blog was initially used by consumers to publish online.  It was designed to let people rant and rave.

Now millions of people ... including marketers... can publish their thoughts, and allow even millions more to comment on their ideas.  Yet some 62% of all Americans still do not know what a blog is, even though they now play a very significant and influential role in our society.

This has created an excellent opportunity for you as a marketer to create buzz about your product which will result in a continuous flow of traffic to your website.  Why?

Because consumers can trigger an avalanche of free publicity for your product which expands exponentially.  In one example - in the airline industry - there was a strong correlation between the airline's average annual growth rate and the number of people "promoting" or recommending that airline to their friends.  The more buzz created the faster and greater the resulting growth for the company!

Let me ask you a question:  Who is the largest source of consumer-generated media on the Internet?  Most people never guess the correct answer.  Here's the answer...

...Wal-Mart!  This was determined using the advanced text mining technology and content analytical tools of Intelliseek, a data mining firm.

Why is this important?  Because with a blog a marketer can use this technology to determine with statistical precision how much public exposure ... positive or negative... a company is getting online.  This buzz spreads across the Internet and creates a wave of new business.

Why are blogs so effective?  They are effective because the blog makes you very personable, resulting in a tested and proven relationship-building model that works extremely well.  That's why we are seeing an estimated doubling every five months for the ...

...CyberBlog!

There are now about 5,000 corporate blogs.  Here is an excellent opportunity for savvy marketers to act as consultants and help more and more companies create their own CyberBlog.  It's the perfect vehicle for companies to build relationships and create positive feelings by consumers.

Most bloggers ... 92% of them... are under age 30 and have, collectively, created an estimated 10 million blogs in America.  If you haven't already done so, could this be right for you and your business?

Here's why you may want create a CyberBlog:  Your website ranking in organic or natural search results on Google can be affected in a positive way using a CyberBlog.  As more and more  content on your site changes and increases, the greater Google's algorithm may favor your website in regard to ranking.  That's because Google likes fresh, changing content on websites!

A blog is continually adding fresh, new content which has actually moved some businesses who couldn't be found to page three in the listings almost instantly.  Traffic increases have improved 5% to 30% after creating a blog.

If you want to create buzz and traffic, the solution may well be your own CyberBlog!
