Three "Hot" Trends To Watch... Profit Certain!  New advances in high-speed Internet via broadband has created three "hot" trends which will create new millionaires.

It's called convergence.  That elusive merging of the media predicted in the mid 90s is now becoming a reality.  Today 34.3 million households in the U.S.A. have broadband.  Over 56% of U.S. homes (69.4 million) will have broadband by the year 2008.

Here are the trends being driven by this broadband access which will change the way we all receive information and/or entertainment at work and at home.

Voice-over-Internet-Protocol: (VoIP) allows you to make local, long distance, and international voice phone calls over the Internet.  The calls are free!  Acceptance of this new disruptive technology by early adopters and now by others means top marketers are watching this trend.  A great example of one very popular service is Skype.  Check it out at Sykpe

Peer-to-Peer-Technology: (P2P) allows people to share just about anything with other people.  The sharing of free music via the Internet was popularized by Napster.  Watch for more and more business applications which allow collaboration capabilities.

Internet-Protocol-Television: (IPTV) is able to deliver customized video by compressing and delivering the video in a manageable size while maintaining video quality.  This technology makes the Web much like TV.  Viewers now can make choices as to format and type of channels, audio, and video views.  This may very well have the same impact on how people watch TV and movies as it did on how they now listen to music.  This is a new frontier not limited with the restrictions of TV.
